HERE IS THE CRITERIA/INSTRUCTION SHEET:  FLASH ASSIGNMENT 1 ANIMATED PERSON

FYI, GIF (Graphical/Graphics Interchange Format) files can be played in a variety of programs.  These are the types of files that you can use with movie/video editing software (and add music/transition slides to!).

Here is a link that further explains GIF files:

RUBRIC FOR 50 FRAME ANIMATIONS

I hope that you all had a wonderful break, while spending time with family and loved ones.

I will not be at school today (TUESDAY, JANUARY 3rd) due to illness.

Here is what you will work on:

1.  Have some fun with the pen tool and re-create/draw something of interest to you (professional athlete, actor/actress, movie character, book character, or a movable object, such as a plane, car, helicoptor, boat, motorcycle, etc.)

2.  You will need to devlope your design into an animation.  The criteria for the animation is this:

* 5″ X 5″, resolution: 150

minimum: 50 frames

3.  Whatever you decide to illustrate with the pen tool, the final product should showcase an animation in which at least FIVE PARTS are moving.

UPON MY RETURN (WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 4TH) I WILL GIVE EACH STUDENT A “PROGRESS” GRADE, WHICH WILL BE WORTH 10 POINTS.  TO EARN YOUR TEN POINTS, YOU SHOULD AT LEAST HAVE COMPLETE THE PEN TOOL WORK AND BEGUN ANIMATING YOUR WORK (AT LEAST 10 FRAMES SHOULD BE COMPLETED).  AGAIN, THIS GRADE WILL BE WORTH 10 POINTS.

GOOD LUCK, AND SEE YOU ALL ON WEDNESDAY!
